COVID-19 – ICCC’20 postponed
The ICCC’20 organisation has been following closely the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic and monitoring Portuguese and International measures to mitigate its effects. Considering the current information available and the contingency and prevention measures that Public Health Authorities have recently put in place, we decided to postpone the event to September 7-11, in Coimbra, Portugal.
This postponement will be followed by several changes in dates and policies. We will provide detailed information in the following days. We understand that this rescheduling may hinder some of you to attend the conference, and will adapt some of our policies to the exceptional times we are all living.
We invite all those interested in participating in ICCC’20 to keep these dates free for coming to Coimbra.
In the meanwhile, all the preparation procedures will continue, but registration will be kept on hold. We will keep monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak with the Public Health Authorities and reassess the situation before opening the registrations. If at that time there are evidences that the effects of the pandemic may extend beyond July/August, we will re-evaluate the dates. Our main concern is to guarantee your health and safety, which is of the utmost importance to us.
We hope that all the Computational Creativity community stays safe and we will meet in September in Coimbra for a great event.
