Submission Instructions

To be considered, papers must be submitted as a PDF document formatted according to ICCC style (which is similar to AAAI and IJCAI formats). Formatting instructions, as well as LaTeX and Word style files are provided in the ICCC Author Kit:

Peer-reviewed research contributions (the regular call for papers; deadline March 2, 23:59 UTC/GMT):

  • See the Call for Papers for topics and paper types and their evaluation criteria
  • Please indicate the paper type clearly on the first page (Technical paper, System or resource description paper, Study paper, Cultural application paper, or Position paper). This ensures that reviewers use the criteria relevant to your paper.
  • The maximum length is 8 pages.
  • Papers do not have to by anonymous, but you are free to write anonymously, if you so wish.
  • Submissions must be made using the EasyChair system:

Submission of camera-ready copies

  • Use the ICCC Author Kit.
  • Add the authors’ names and affiliations and undo any other possible anonymization from the original submission.
  • Remove the paper type indication from the first page. It was used only for the review phase.
  • The maximum length is 8 pages.
  • Submit the camera-ready copy at
    EasyChair submission management system for ICCC 2015
  • NEW: Check that all information about the paper and authors is up-to-date and correct in EasyChair. This information will be used to produce the table of contents and other indices.
  • The deadline is May 29, 2015.


Abstract submissions (non-peer-reviewed late-breaking papers, demos, posters, exhibits, short talks, etc.; deadline May 8):

  • The maximum length is 2 pages.
  • Please submit a camera-ready copy, as a pdf file prepared according to the instructions above, including full author information and affiliations.
  • Submit your abstract using this form at the University of Helsinki.
