In June 2013, Sydney will be host to a variety of events of interest to attendees of ICCC 2013, here are some of the highlights:
ACM Creativity and Cognition 2013, June 17–20
ACM Creativity and Cognition 2013 will provide a common meeting ground for individuals from different domains and fields can interact to explore and share a variety of information, observations, insights and ideas about the human capacity to creatively solve problems and produce novel and valuable artefacts in their context and culture. Creativity and Cognition 2013 will feature a strong academic program, alongside flagship art exhibitions and music events, as well as workshops. A doctoral symposium will also be run for graduate students, as has been done in previous years.
International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA) 2013, June 7–16
ISEA2013 will showcase the best media artworks from around the world and provide a platform for the lively exchange of future-focused ideas. ISEA 2013 will comprise engaging presentations and thought-provoking speakers and discussions intertwined with a wider artistic programme of exhibitions, workshops and other events.
Vivid Sydney Festival 2013, May 24 – June 10
Vivid Sydney will once again transform Sydney into a spectacular canvas of light, music and ideas. Highlights will include the hugely popular immersive light installations and projections; performances from local and international musicians at Vivid LIVE at Sydney Opera House and the Vivid Ideas Exchange featuring public talks and debates from leading global creative thinkers.
