We are happy to announce that Professor Steven M. Smith, a cognitive psychologist at Texas A&M University, will be the keynote speaker for this year’s conference. Dr. Smith is a pioneer of the creative cognition research approach, and his experimental laboratory research has investigated the implicit cognitive mechanisms behind design fixation. His interdisciplinary work bridges cognitive psychology with engineering design, business, and computer science.
