Accommodations

UCD is located about 20 minutes by bus from the centre of Dublin city. Attendees may decide to stay either in the city centre (in which case they should allow for 30 minutes travel time to UCD in the mornings) or near/at UCD.

Dublin has many hotel options to suit many different needs and budgets. The best place to find a city centre hotel is www.booking.com.  Click on this link to view available city centre hotels for the dates of the conference. Hotels near Trinity College / Grafton Street / St. Stephen’s Green are likely to the most convenient for attendees who wish to stay in the city centre. Please feel free to contact Tony Veale directly if you need some advice about a particular location or hotel in the city.

UCD in the suburbs of Dublin, on the south side of the city. The most convenient (and best) local hotel is the Radisson St. Helens, which is a short stroll from the UCD campus (a 10 minute walk). This hotel is one of the nicest hotels that Dublin has to offer, with old-world charm set among relaxing gardens. We have arranged a special price for attendees of ICCC:  121 euros per night, for a room with breakfast for one person or a couple (all taxes are included). Please use the promotional code ICCC when booking this hotel online, or if reserving a room by phone.  Click here to be taken to the online booking site (with the ICCC code and conference dates).

We have arranged a third option for attendees seeking budget accommodation on the UCD campus itself.  UCD lets ensuite rooms in the student residence for summer visitors. Single-room prices (at 55 euros a night) include a voucher for breakfast on campus. A block of 30 single-occupancy rooms has been reserved for ICCC’2012. Please click here to reserve your room on campus.
